Job Summary:
Waxing the City is seeking a Studio Lead (Licensed Esthetician) who is passionate about client care, team development, and results-driven performance.
This role is a hands-on leadership position, responsible for delivering exceptional waxing services while mentoring team members, maintaining brand standards, and supporting daily studio operations. The ideal candidate is both a top-performing service provider and a natural leader.
Responsibilities:
- Perform professional, high-quality waxing services
- Deliver exceptional client experiences and build long-term relationships
- Train, coach, and support estheticians to ensure consistent service quality
- Lead by example in performance, professionalism, and customer service
- Promote and sell services and retail products
- Assist with scheduling, inventory, and daily studio operations
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and brand standards
- Support team in achieving service and retail goals
Qualifications:
- Active Esthetician or Cosmetology License (required)
- 2+ years of waxing or skincare experience preferred
- Previous leadership, coaching, or training experience a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on client retention
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Pay: Hourly + Commission
